Bullying Behavior Rubric

Washington School began piloting the OLWEUS Bullying Prevention Program, a comprehensive, school-wide, researched program designed to reduce and prevent bullying problems and improve peer relations, in May 2007.  During that time, baseline data was collected from our 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th grade students regarding their perceptions and experiences with bullying, utilizing the OLWEUS survey.  In August 2007 the school-wide program officially began which included:

! School-Wide Kick-Off events

! School Rules Against Bullying

! Student Pledges

! K-5 Weekly Classroom meetings

! Bullying prevention and intervention procedures

! Annual Spring Survey for 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th grade students

Our program continues for the 4^th year with the help of administrators, teachers, staff, students and parents to make Washington School a safe, bully-free environment for learning.  The attached documents are for parent review regarding our program.   Please contact Mrs. Davis, Principal or Mrs. Morin, School Counselor with any questions.
