In conjunction with a program educating the students, I am asking parents and caregivers to assist the school in creating a safe walking environment for our students.
-
Remember, Moffett Street is a two-way street. At no time are you permitted to drive on the wrong side of the road, especially over the Cross Walk.
-
Please keep the cross walk clear particularly during the busy dismissal time.
-
When stopping for students using the Cross Walk, please allow space so that students are able to watch for moving vehicles in both directions.
-
If you see that a vehicle may be endangering a student, please use your horn to alert them. While it may be loud, it is more important to make the driver aware and alert the pedestrians to danger.
Remember, child safety should always come first. Please don’t put your child or your neighbor’s child in an unsafe situation for convenience sake.
