A Message from Our Principal
Welcome to the website of Julia Ward Howe Elementary School where "what is best for students" is at the center of all we do. Our dedicated, professional faculty and staff are focused on the academic achievement of our students. In addition, we encourage the development of our children’s athletic skills as well as talents in the arts. Moreover, we are committed to nurturing the whole child, specifically their social and emotional development and well being. Our character education program is complimented by our research-based, anti-bullying Olweus program.
The Howe community is a close-knit group of teachers, counselors, support staff, and parents collaborating regularly to continually improve the educational experience of our students. We value the contributions of all members of the community to make Howe a very special place.
