This is the first year for the Junior Green Team. The team consists of children 1st - 5th grade. We meet at least once a month. Each month we do something different. The children have a very important job to help educate other students and teach them ways to take better care of our planet. The green team also goes on the afternoon announcements to help teach the children. This year already we have made two big changes at Howe. We now recycle milk cartons in the lunch room and we also recycle in all the classrooms. What a huge accomplishment for the first year!
We will continue to do projects and help our school be GREEN. Thank you to all the children in the Green Team: Amanda, Lyndsay, Abbie, Anna, Anneliese, Lucas, Jada, Lucas, Ben, Grace, Angelina, Cody and Allen!
